How Does Your Garden Grow?

A couple months ago we planted seeds in our kitchen garden. We wanted to take advantage of great southern exposure and try our hand at growing some of the herbs and vegetables we use in our recipes.  We were off to a very slow start and, admittedly, were discouraged for a while. But we've now harvested radishes, dill and blossoms have finally appeared on our cherry tomato plants.
Not quite self-sufficient but we're proud, just the same.

Big Black and Brown Sign

Big day here on Ferguson Ave. - really big!
As I sit here in the office looking out the window I can see our new outdoor sign swinging in the breeze. After an unsuccessful attempt with unco-operative brick drilling yesterday, this afternoon Ellen successfully hung the sign she painted. And now it announces our business to everyone that passes.

Oh... and we successfully completed and delivered our first full catering order today!

Little Green Sign

It's finally in the window - the official Food Inspection Certificate. We passed and we're 'real' caterers now! I'm thrilled but somehow Ellen was more excited receiving a pre-printed hand-washing instruction sheet to hang over the sink.
